What better way to break my long silence than a sweet, new baby? This is Shiloh Grace with her proud big sister Taliya. I didn't jump on my chance when she was sleeping soundly, so I didn't get as many sleepy baby pictures as I wanted. But it was still fun. I'd love to have a new baby to shoot every week!
I think she looks like her Gramma Petersheim in this one!
Love how she's looking at her mom here... kinda' like she's in awe of her. :)
Congratulations to Steve and LeAnn on your beautiful baby girl!

I had a lot of fun doing pictures for Ron and Lisa! Such a sweet, soft, little baby. She slept a lot and let us move her and bend her pretty much however we wanted. :)
Congratulations again Ron and Lisa- she's a doll!

My sweet baby, on loan from above,
No better treasure could I er' more love.
I stand here beside your bed as I pray,
I lay my hand on your head and I say,

May you grow up to serve Him, all of your days,
May He lead you and guide you, in all of your ways,
May His hand bless your future with friendships that last,
May you cherish your youth and not grow up to fast,

I stare in wonder at your tiny frame,
Just to think that God knows your name,
He knows every hair on your beautiful head,
He knows all your thoughts before they are said,

May you grow up to serve Him, all of your days,
May He lead you and guide you, in all of your ways,
May His hand bless your future with friendships that last,
May you cherish your youth and not grow up to fast,

May God grant you peace in the midst of a storm,
may God give you strength, even when you're forlorn.
May you answer the door when Jesus comes knocking,
May wisdom guide you when your mouth is talking,
May discretion protect you and keep you pure,
May you never stumble and fall for allure,
May your heart remain humble to the very end,
May uprightness and truth be what you defend,
May the world not ensnare or change who you .
May the light that's within you, shine like the stars,
May Angels surround your body, spirit, and mind,
May favor and peace be yours to find.
May rejection and pain never reach you,
May your spirit grow bold for what you are called to.
As you rest in God's care, I will rest too.
Knowing that Jesus is watching over you. Amen

Beautiful, beautiful song by Rachel Aldous! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=re5EIUIXbhc Listen to it- it's worth the four minutes. :)

This week the theme is 'Celebrating Mom' at iheartfaces. I thank God for allowing me to be a mother!

Lori and Andy's wedding..... It was a gorgeous day! All the family together- I just tried to soak it up, but the weekend went by so fast! I went through my pictures and just picked some out that I like. Enjoy!

                                                       Wake up the Bride!
I love this one- and I wish I could remember what they were laughing about! I set it as my screensaver because it makes me laugh just looking at it. :)
                                                            All us kids...
And all the nieces and nephews except one who was traumatized by it all.
The beautiful cake.... The abundance of red roses everywhere was so, so pretty. And calla lilys and hydrangea...
My hansom hubby and fine young man- wish Cameron was in it with them!
Here they come! Lori gave her bouquet to mom...
And they're off!

Spring....in macro

Obviously, I'm obsessed with water droplets! I've been out several mornings when it was dewy or rainy. On my knees, on my stomach. And been quite wet and dirty when I was done. I just love the clear reflections!

I was going to write more, but it's time to leave for church. Hope everyone is delighting in the Spring as much as we are!
